Bust of a woman wearing a diadem, unknown Roman workshop, A woman's head set on a bust, possibly modern. Regular and sharply defined facial features. Strong jaws and chin. Parted lips, straight and long nose with a flat-cut bridge. Almond-shaped eyes under regularly arched eyebrows with sharp edges. Fine waves of hair above the forehead, symmetrically divided into two locks, are pulled back towards the back of the head, obscuring the upper parts of the ears. On either side, at temple level, two small locks of hair fall. The hair is tied in a knot at the back of the head, from under which two locks fall over the shoulders. The head is Juno-type, but there is a strong suspicion that we are dealing with a modern copy. 2nd half 1st century, sculpture, weight 51.5 kg, A carved stone bust of a person with wavy hair and a cap, shown from the shoulders up on a smooth cylindrical orange-brown stone pedestal, with the stone of the bust in pale beige and light gray tones, faint darker gray veining, and subtle areas of warmer tan; the facial features are calm with closed or vacant-looking eyes and a straight nose, the hair falls in textured waves framing the face and a few locks rest on the neck, the surface shows weathered texture and slight discoloration, all set against a flat neutral gray background.
