Alabastron, Egyptian workshop, 6th–5th century BC. Opaque dark blue glass alabastron decorated with yellow-brown zigzag threads; ovoid body with rounded bottom, flat discoidal rim, and vertical duck vices glued to the upper part of the body; formed on the core. Type: Grose group I:E, form I:6, Harden group I form 4. Height 8.6 cm; body diameter 2.5 cm; spout diameter 2.45 cm; weight 0.030 kg. Site of origin: Egypt, A tall, narrow vase with a flared rim, decorated in alternating curved stripes that create a scalloped, wave-like pattern; the surface shows a glossy finish with raised drip-like accents on one side. The visible colors are deep blue, creamy white, pale yellow on the rim, and small areas of tan. The background is a uniform gray.
