Bowl with Greek inscription. Glass bowl of transparent light blue glass with an uneven rim edge, cold-worked. Relief decoration in the lower register: radially arranged long leaves flutes. In the upper, widest part of the bowl there is a Greek inscription: Rejoice that you have come, bounded at the top and bottom by horizontal ribs. Blown in a three-part form. Type: Harden group G.1.IIa. Date: 1st century manufacture in Sidon; 1st half of the 19th century noted classification. Origin: Sidon; Cyprus discovery. Vessel, weight 0.070 kg; diameter 4.5 cm bottom, diameter 7.4 cm rim, height 7 cm., A translucent glass bowl with a rounded body and a slightly flared rim sits against a neutral gray background; the glass shows a few areas of greenish-blue tint and several patches of brownish discoloration near the rim, with visible air bubbles and irregularities in the surface; the body features a band of embossed decorative motifs and a lower section with vertical ribbing, and the glass rests on a short, slightly uneven foot.
