Glass bowl with Greek inscription. Transparent light-blue blown glass in a three-part form, cold-worked with an uneven rim edge. Relief decoration in the lower register: radially arranged long leaves flutes. In the upper, widest part of the bowl is a Greek inscription: Rejoice that you have come, bounded at top and bottom by horizontal ribs. Type: Harden group G.1.IIa. Dated 1st century Sidon; possibly associated with Cyprus. Vessel; weight 0.070 kg; diameter 4.5 cm bottom, diameter 7.4 cm rim; height 7 cm., A clear, translucent glass bowl with a pale green-blue tint sits centered on a neutral gray background, showing a rounded body with a slightly flared rim and a narrower base; the glass surface has a textured pattern of raised horizontal bands and decorative ridges around the middle and lower sections, and there are areas of darker brownish discoloration and cloudiness on the rim and upper body, along with small bubbles and irregularities within the glass that catch the light.
