Image of a seated panther facing right with a long curled tail; details highlighted with engraved lines and visible red retouching. One of the rosettes of the filling ornament is unfinished. Small amount of filling ornaments rosettes; small rays visible near the neck. Four lines on the base/foot. Remnants of a ray ornament visible at the bottom. Technology: Smooth surface, good-quality glossy varnish. Notes: Reconstructed rim. Visible chips, cracks, and impurities. Clay color: 2.5 YR 8/3 pale yellow. Black: 5 YR 2.5/1. Red: 7.5 R 4/2 weak red. Provenance/Origin: Corinth. Type: aryballos vessel. Date: 620–590 BC. Dimensions: height 6.9 cm; width 6.6 cm; weight 0.066 kg; rim diameter 3.7 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a short neck and a flat round rim and handle, shown against a gray background, in beige and tan tones with areas of darker wear; decorative painted motifs in black and dark brown appear on the body, including a stylized animal figure and circular sunburst-like designs, with traces of reddish-brown in parts of the decoration; surface shows spots of discoloration and aged texture.
