Oinochoe, unknown Cypriot workshop; Arsinoe Cyprus. Oinochoe on a cup-shaped foot with a spherical body transitioning into sloping arms, separated by a recess from the narrow, tapering neck terminating in a triangular rim. The band-shaped handle protrudes slightly above the rim and is connected to the arm. The vessel is covered with gray-blue, matte paint. Decoration in white and brown paint surrounds the vessel concentrically. On the foot, stripes of white paint decorate the body; a laurel sprig adorns the narrowest part of the body, with white and brown stripes above it. On the shoulders, a ray ornament extends up to the neck. On the neck at the base and under the rim, white dots, and between the rows of dots, white stripes. 332–30 BC; Hellenistic period, Cyprus; oinochoe vessel; height 14 cm, width 9 cm., An aged rounded vessel with a narrow tall neck and a flared foot is shown against a plain gray background; the surface displays a weathered, mottled pattern in dark brown and black with worn areas of lighter beige and cream, and several horizontal banded markings and streaks wrap around the body and neck, with visible scratches and surface wear giving a textured, speckled appearance.
