Oinochoe, unknown Cypriot workshop; Arsinoe Cyprus. Oinochoe on a cup-shaped foot with a spherical body transitioning into sloping arms, separated by a recess from the narrow, tapering neck terminating in a triangular rim. The band-shaped handle protrudes slightly above the rim and is connected to the arm. The vessel is covered with gray-blue, matte paint. Decoration in white and brown paint surrounds the vessel concentrically. On the foot, stripes of white paint decorate the body; a laurel sprig adorns the narrowest part of the body, with white and brown stripes above it. On the shoulders, a ray ornament extends up to the neck. On the neck at the base and under the rim, white dots, and between the rows of dots, white stripes. 332–30 BC; Hellenistic period, Cyprus. Oinochoe vessel, height 14 cm, width 9 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow neck and flared foot, shown against a plain gray background. The surface of the vessel displays worn horizontal bands and decorative patterns in shades of dark gray, black, and muted brown with areas of lighter gray and off-white where the finish is chipped or weathered. The neck has a series of short vertical marks and dotted accents in lighter tones, while the body shows alternating bands and a subtle leaf-like or wave motif in darker and lighter contrasts. The base and rim show rough, abraded edges with exposed lighter material, and the vessel overall has a textured, aged appearance with scattered patches of surface loss.
