Barrel-shaped jug, unknown Cypriot workshop, geometric motifs, Cypriot ceramics. A vessel with a barrel-shaped body terminated on both sides by small protrusions. The cylindrical neck terminates in a cup-shaped spout. A band-shaped vise connects the body to the neck midway up. The decoration, finished with brown paint, consists of concentric bands encircling the barrel. Two wide light brown bands on either side of the vise are framed on either side by narrow dark brown bands. At the protrusions, the bands group into a set of concentric circles. Transverse bands between two vertical bands decorate the vise. A series of concentric belts on the neck. 850–600 BC, Cyprus, Arsinoe, vessel, height 12 cm, width 10 cm., A rounded ceramic vessel with a narrow flaring neck and a wide flat rim, featuring a beige base color with decorative bands and geometric motifs in black and reddish-brown; the body shows vertical stripes and a central pattern of diamond shapes with dot-filled centers, while the neck has horizontal dark bands; the surface has areas of wear and patina in beige, black, and reddish-brown tones, set against a neutral gray background.
