The front face is divided into two horizontal registers bordered by a red frame: the upper register shows a repeated decorative motif with stylized plant-like shapes in yellow and black and teardrop elements in red and blue-green, while the lower register depicts a group of standing human-like figures rendered in profile wearing long garments in red and blue-green against a yellow background. The lid and upper edge display a striped decorative band in alternating yellow and darker hues, and the wooden surfaces show areas of wear and chipped paint.
