A flat-bottomed vessel with a plastic belly in the shape of a Silenus's head, a funnel-shaped spout, and a vertical ribbon handle curved into a circle. The Silenus's head has horse ears and an ivy wreath with flowers above the forehead. The face has low, wavy hair, small eyes with thin, slender eyelids and marked irises and pupils, a short broad nose, chubby cheeks, and a narrow closed mouth. A large part of the face is covered by a beard and mustache, parted in the middle and arranged in twisted locks with curled ends. Orange clay, Roman pottery, 2nd century, Pergamon workshop, Vessel.
