Bull-shaped vessel. Vessel in the shape of a bull standing on widely spaced legs. The cylindrical body, straight cut, flows into a wide neck. The head is small with a cylindrical muzzle, with plastically crafted eyes and horns protruding upwards. There is a hole in the neck, and beneath it is a spout, the other end of which is attached in the middle of the back. The surface is covered with geometrically painted decoration. Cypriot pottery, askos. 1300–1200 BC, Cyprus. Height 11 cm, width 13 cm, depth 4.5 cm, weight 0.11 kg. Bulls; animal figurines., A weathered animal-shaped ceramic vessel with a rounded body, four slender legs, a pronounced snout, upright pointed ears, and a looped handle on its back; the surface shows worn painted patterns and areas of flaking and cracks. Visible colors include shades of brown, tan, beige, rust, gray, and small patches of off-white.
