Bull-shaped vessel. Vessel in the shape of a bull standing on widely spaced legs. The cylindrical body, straight cut, flows into a wide neck. The head is small with a cylindrical muzzle, with plastically crafted eyes and horns protruding upwards. There is a hole in the neck, and beneath it is a vice, the other end of which is attached in the middle of the back. The surface is covered with geometrically painted decoration. Cypriot pottery, askos. 1300–1200 BC, Cyprus. Height 11 cm; width 13 cm; depth 4.5 cm; weight 0.11 kg., A small sculptural object shaped like an animal with a rounded body, four legs, a short tail, and two upright horn-like projections on its head sits against a neutral background. The surface shows a weathered, rough texture with areas of worn patina and flaking. The overall color palette includes brown, tan, beige, and gray, with patches of darker brown and some lighter cream tones forming faint, irregular patterns on the body. A curved handle-like form rises from the animal’s back, and there is a visible crack with a small missing section along the midbody. The facial area has simple, low-relief features and the legs are slightly tapered, ending in rounded points. The lighting creates soft shadows beneath the object and subtle highlights on the raised surfaces.
