Situla handle with a depiction of Silenus, Silenus mythology, bronze vessel, 1st half of the 5th century BC, Etruria, vessel, height 13.7 cm, width 4.2 cm, The image shows a single metal object with a vertical elongated shape and a circular loop at the top, mounted on a clear stand against a neutral gray background; the metal surface is dark with visible areas of greenish and brownish patina and some lighter metallic highlights, and the object features a relief of a small seated human figure with a bearded face and detailed hair, arms raised beside the head, a defined torso and bent legs with one leg attached to a short curved projection at the bottom, while the sides of the elongated section are decorated with raised bead-like ridges and smooth panels.
