Situla handle with a depiction of Silenus, Silenus mythology, bronze, 1st half of the 5th century BC, Etruria, vessel handle, height 13.7 cm, width 4.2 cm, A curved metal object with a dark brown to greenish patina is shown against a plain gray background, mounted on a clear acrylic stand; the metal surface has areas of green corrosion and darker brown spots, and a row of raised bead-like textures runs along the inner curve; near the lower end a small sculpted human figure in profile is integrated into the form, its surface showing similar brown and green tones and worn detailing on the face and torso, while the upper portion of the object bends into a loop with mottled dark and greenish coloration.
