Greek deity depiction, ca. 540–550 BC attributions: Zdrojewska places it on Samos ca. 540 BC; Franck and Furtwängler on the Peloponnese or in Arcadia 550–530 BC; Wallenstein in Corinth, dated to 550 BC. Samos place of origin. Mirror, height 23.2 cm, width 14 cm, depth 3 cm. Maker, inscription/author unknown., A standing bronze figurine with a brownish-green patina mounted on a clear rectangular base, depicting a humanlike figure wearing a long skirt and adorned with a large horizontal headdress that extends outward on both sides and ends in animallike heads; the figure has stylized facial features and textured hair, one hand resting near the hip while the other holds a small object, the surface shows cracks and uneven texture, and the background is a smooth gray.
