Dagger, unknown Luristan workshop. A fully cast dagger with a full hilt and a flared pommel. The pommel, shaped like two angled, opposing crescent-shaped lobes, merges into a narrow shaft, which merges into a rectangular element imitating a casing with curved mounting plates at the bottom of the hilt such hilts also had casings of various materials applied. The hilt merges directly into a double-edged blade, which tapers evenly towards the tip. A ridge runs from the tip of the engraving towards the centre of the superstructure, which after a short distance splits, creating a long, narrow, triangular flat field. Height 35.7 cm; width 3.2 cm; depth 3.4 cm; weight 264 g., A long metallic object with a dark gray to black patina, showing worn and slightly rough surfaces, photographed against a pale gray background; the object tapers to a pointed end and has a wider cylindrical section near the top that transitions into a narrower, slightly curved neck and ends in a rounded, flat head with small cutouts on its sides; the metal shows areas of lighter silvery reflection and patches of darker greenish corrosion along its length.
