Amenhotep's shabti with baskets on the back; hieroglyphs; headbands; wigs; baskets; hoes; grave goods; mummy-shaped figurine. Arms crossed on the chest, the right folded over the left; hoes in both hands. On the back is a rectangular basket with loops. Painted tools. Three-part, long, smooth wig with a headband; ears covered; face damaged; painted headband. Painted inscription in one column on the front of the legs reading: Osiris the father of God ... scribe of the temple of Amun-Re, Amenhotep. Ca. 1069–715 BC, Third Intermediate Period, 21st–23rd Dynasty, Egypt. Shabti; height 13.3 cm, width 4.2 cm., A small vertical figurine viewed in profile with a rounded head and elongated body, predominantly bright turquoise and blue with areas of lighter greenish-blue patina, showing a few narrow dark lines and markings on the head, torso, and lower leg, a slightly bulbous midsection suggesting a stylized torso, a hint of a raised ear or headdress at the back of the head, a gently curved foot at the base, and an overall worn, slightly rough surface texture against a plain neutral gray background.
