Amulet - figurine of a lion-headed goddess, lionesses, Egyptian deities, Sekhmet myth., Wadjit myth., Bastet myth., Lion-headed goddess with a lotus scepter in her left hand right lowered. 664–332 BC; Late Period, Egypt. Amulet; height 4 cm, width 1 cm, depth 1.2 cm., A small sculptural figure in green-blue and turquoise tones with areas of brownish and goldish discoloration, showing a stylized upright body with an elongated lower portion and a broader upper section that suggests shoulders and a head with rounded protrusions, smooth worn surfaces, subtle raised forms on the torso, and irregular patches of darker and lighter green-blue across the piece.
