The large round filling opening is surrounded by a convex ring approximately 0.5 cm larger than the opening. Orange clay with light cream engobe. 1st century, Palestine, oil lamp., A round, shallow vessel with a central circular basin and an extended spout-like projection, made of rough, worn material showing a sandy beige and light tan surface with small patches of darker brown and faint orange tones; the rim around the basin is slightly raised, and the basin interior is textured and similar in color to the exterior; the spout area has a darker, weathered edge with mottled gray and brown discoloration; the background is a uniform medium gray.
