Black-figure kylix with Greek inscription, Archaic kylix form between a band/ribbon kylix and an eye kylix, 540–520 BC, Attica, kylix vessel, height 16.2 cm, width 22.2 cm, A shallow, two-handled ceramic bowl sits on a rounded foot against a neutral gray background, showing a warm ochre body with broad black bands near the rim and base; the handles and upper rim are painted dark, with some worn areas revealing lighter clay beneath, and there are several small dark brushmarks along the ochre band; overall colors visible include ochre, black, brown, and hints of beige from worn spots.
