Lamp, Oil lamp with a circular container and a slightly forward burner. Decorated on the top with a schematic image of a frog surrounding the filler hole. The letter A is carved on the bottom. 3rd–4th century, Egypt. Oil lamp; height 3.4 cm, width 8.1 cm, depth 7.3 cm., A rounded object with a central round opening and a short protruding spout, made of a rough, light-colored material showing areas of darker discoloration and spots, with shallow carved linear and geometric grooves radiating from the center and subtle raised ridges around the opening; the surface displays a few smudges and darker marks, and the object rests on a flat, smooth gray background.
