Ushabti, mummy-shaped figurine, preserved head and fragment of torso. Arms crossed on the chest, hands placed at the same level, next to each other, holding hoes in each hand. On the back, a square basket is slung on strings over both shoulders. Wearing a long, smooth, tripartite wig with a headband. Triangular face with details almost illegible. Headband and tools painted. ca. 945–715 BC; Third Intermediate Period, 22nd–23rd Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti; height 3.7 cm., A small worn figurine fragment shown against a plain gray background, predominantly turquoise in color with areas of pale beige and sandy texture; the piece has a curved head and a vertical, elongated body with rough, weathered surfaces and a few darker brownish marks along the top edge and midsection, and a small exposed beige base at the bottom.
