Ushabti, mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift; preserved head and fragment of torso. Arms crossed on the chest, hands placed at the same level, next to each other, holding hoes in each hand. On the back a square basket is slung on strings over both shoulders. Head with a long, smooth, tripartite wig with a headband. Triangular face, details almost illegible. Headband and tools painted. ca. 945–ca. 715 BC; Third Intermediate Period, 22nd–23rd Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti; height 3.7 cm, A small turquoise-colored figurine with a rounded top and a textured surface sits against a plain gray background; the object shows a few darker brownish streaks and spots, some lighter pale areas, and a rough, slightly pitted texture with an irregular base and a faint suggestion of a simplified face and body form.
