Shabti with baskets on the back, Mummy-shaped funerary figurine, preserved fragment from the knees up. Arms crossed on the chest, hands placed at the same level, next to each other, holding hoes in each hand. On the back, a rectangular basket slung on strings over both shoulders. Wears a long, smooth, three-part wig with a headband. Triangular face, proportional details, eyes slightly closed. Painted facial details. Painted inscription placed in a column separated by vertical lines on the front of the legs, starting just below the folded hands; text includes ...of the soul belonging to Osiris.... Third Intermediate Period, ca. 1069–715 BC 21st–23rd Dynasty, Egypt. Shabti; height 7.6 cm, width 3.2 cm., A small turquoise-blue figurine shaped like a stylized human form with a rounded head, narrow shoulders, and an elongated body, showing a textured surface and areas of lighter and darker blue; several black painted lines and patterns appear on the head, torso, and lower body including a horizontal band across the head and vertical and grid-like markings on the body; small areas of brownish discoloration and surface wear are visible.
