Shabti with baskets on the back, Mummy-shaped funerary figurine, preserved fragment from the knees up. Arms crossed on the chest, hands level next to each other holding hoes. Rectangular basket slung on strings over both shoulders on the back. Long, smooth three-part wig with a headband; triangular face, proportional details, eyes slightly closed; painted facial details and headband. Painted inscription in a column separated by vertical lines on the front of the legs beginning just below the folded hands: ...of the soul belonging to Osiris.... ca. 1069–715 BC, Third Intermediate Period, 21st–23rd Dynasty, Egypt. Shabti, height 7.6 cm, width 3.2 cm., A small sculpted figure photographed against a white background, showing a stylized torso and head with a rounded top and a flattened base; the surface is worn and pitted with a rough texture. The piece displays a turquoise-blue overall color with areas of greenish-blue and pale green patina, along with patches of brownish tan and sandy beige where the surface is eroded. There are several dark brown to black streaks and smudges across the head, shoulders, and body, and a few small rough spots and chips revealing a lighter, grayish inner material at the bottom edge.
