Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, preserved head and fragment of torso. Arms crossed on the chest, hands at the same level, next to each other, holding hoes in each hand. On the back a rectangular basket is slung on strings over both shoulders. On the head is a long, smooth, three-part wig with a headband. Triangular face with proportional details; eyes slightly closed. Headband, tools, and facial details painted. ca. 945–ca. 715 BC; Third Intermediate Period, 22nd–23rd Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti, height 5.2 cm., A small turquoise-blue figurine-shaped object with a smooth rounded top and flared base, showing a few dark black linear markings on the front including a horizontal line near the top and several vertical and diagonal strokes down the center and sides; the surface shows variations of lighter and darker turquoise with some speckling and tiny pits, a small area of white abrasion at the lower edge, and a faint patch of brown discoloration on one side, all set against a plain gray background.
