Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, preserved head and fragment of torso. Arms crossed on the chest, hands placed at the same level, next to each other, holding hoes in each hand. On the back a rectangular basket is slung on strings over both shoulders. On the head is a long, smooth, three-part wig with a headband. Triangular face with proportional details; eyes slightly closed. Headband, tools, and facial details painted. ca. 945–ca. 715 BC; Third Intermediate Period, 22nd–23rd Dynasty, Egypt. Ushabti, height 5.2 cm., A small blue-green figurine of a seated person with a rounded headdress and a visible face, showing worn surface texture and areas of lighter and darker blue-green; the headdress and chest have thin dark bands, and there are a few small darker spots and patches of brownish discoloration on the surface, all set against a plain gray background.
