Shabti, mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift, hoes; standing on a base with back supported by a flat pillar. Arms crossed on the chest, holding hoes in both hands; in the right hand a string suspends a basket over the left shoulder. Slightly convex tools. Smooth, tripartite wig, round face with clearly defined large eyes; mouth and nose not visible. Not inscribed. 525–343 BC; Late Period, 27th–30th Dynasty, Egypt. Shabti, height 7 cm., A roughly human-shaped small object with a rounded top and tapered body in beige and light brown tones, showing a textured, worn surface and patches of darker brown and greenish discoloration, with a small square of coarse fabric attached near the upper middle in a tan color, all set against a uniform gray background.
