Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base, the back supported by a flat pillar. Arms crossed on the chest, holding hoes in both hands. In the right hand a string from which a basket is slung over the left shoulder. Slightly convex tools. Smooth, tripartite wig. Round face with clearly defined large eyes; mouth and nose not visible. Not inscribed. 525–343 BC; Late Period, 27th–30th Dynasty, Egypt. Shabti; height 7 cm., A worn carved figure shown in profile with a rounded head and a simplified facial profile, a sloped shoulder and an elongated, straight torso that tapers down to a rounded foot-like base; the surface appears textured and pitted. The visible colors are shades of brown, tan, beige, and hints of pale yellow, set against a neutral gray background.
