The heads have curly hair carved along the center where they meet, and both faces are shown in profile facing opposite directions. The stone displays a range of beige, tan, off-white, light brown, and gray tones, with darker gray shadows in crevices and lighter creamy areas on raised surfaces. The background is a smooth mid-gray.
