Smooth tripartite wig with headband; ears uncovered; large eyes; mouth and nose not distinct. Tools, facial details, and headband painted with dark paint. Painted inscription in a column of text enclosed in a frame: Osiris the prophet of Amun Amenmose, justified by the voice. c. 1069–c. 656 BC, Third Intermediate Period, Egypt. Height 16.4 cm; width 5.3 cm., A small upright figurine with a weathered surface in shades of blue and turquoise with areas of darker teal and pale green, standing on a grayish base; the figure has a rounded head and a simplified face with darker markings around the eyes and hair, a short rounded torso with raised arms held close to the chest, and a long narrow lower body that tapers toward the feet, showing patches of darker blue and black discoloration and worn lighter spots.
