Shabti legs, Mummy-shaped funerary figurine fragment: legs preserved from knees down. Feet rest on a base with a flat pillar at the back. Inscribed text preserved in fragments in a column on the front of the legs and on the pillar. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Shabti; height 4.2 cm., A small weathered object shaped like a short boot or shoe, shown in profile against a gray background; the object has a rough, pitted surface with a predominantly green tone mixed with areas of beige and brown, with some lighter whitish patches and darker brown spots, and appears to rest on a thicker rectangular base with a bit of frayed fibrous material visible beneath.
