Shabti, Mummy-shaped funerary figurine, made carelessly and impressed in a mold. Hands folded on the chest, right over left; both hands hold hoes. Wears a three-part smooth wig. Facial details poorly legible. No inscription; back unfinished. Third Intermediate Period, Egypt, c. 1069–c. 656 BC. Shabti, height 7.5 cm., A vertically oriented, weathered beige figurine shown in profile against a solid gray background, with a rounded head, an elongated torso, and a slightly protruding arm positioned near the chest; the surface appears rough and pitted with areas of darker brown and faint reddish pigment along the back and lower edge, and a small darker spot near the base of the foot.
