Shabti, mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift, hoes; made carelessly, impressed in a mold. Hands folded on the chest, right over left; both hands hold hoes. Wears a three-part smooth wig. Facial details poorly legible. No inscription. Back unfinished. c. 1069–c. 656 BC, Third Intermediate Period, Egypt. Height 7.5 cm., A small elongated carved figure against a solid gray background, rendered in rough textured beige and light brown material with traces of darker brown in crevices; the figure has a rounded top suggesting a head with an indistinct facial area and a narrow tapering body, a subtle suggestion of crossed arms at chest level, and an uneven, slightly darker base; surface shows pitting and irregularities and a few small holes, with overall colors including beige, light brown, darker brown, and gray.
