Unguentarium, unknown Eastern workshop. Glass vessel, transparent light green, Barag type VII: 1, 3, 3rd–4th century, Syria. Pear-shaped baggy belly and neck decorated with diagonal ribs over entire surface; foot with a gap. Two vertical vices attached at two-thirds of the vessel's height and extending to the edge of the funnel-shaped rim; free-blown. Outer rim diameter 4.50 cm; height 12.50 cm; outer bottom diameter 4.30 cm; weight 0.072 kg., A tall, narrow glass vessel with a flared rim and a rounded base on a short foot, made of translucent greenish-blue glass with a spiral ribbed texture running up the body; the glass surface shows slight iridescence and areas of cloudiness, with a thicker handle-like strand attached near the top that follows the curve to the rim, and the overall background is a smooth light gray.
