Scarab mold, scarab mold cast, ; scarabs, ca. 1550–30 BC, New Kingdom–Ptolemaic Period, Egypt; mold; height 1 cm, width 3 cm, depth 2.8 cm, A round, slightly irregular object with a textured surface in shades of reddish brown and clay, featuring a raised, oval central form with a vertical seam and horizontal band, and a short ribbed stem extending from the bottom of the central form; the surface shows rough, pitted areas and subtle variations of darker and lighter reddish brown, with a plain light gray background.
