Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, funerary offering, impressed in a mold, carelessly made of faience. The back of the figurine is flat and unfinished. Arms crossed on the chest, right hand folded over the left; arms distinct. Tools are almost invisible — on the right shoulder a faint outline of a tool or string for hanging a basket. Head wears a smooth three-part wig; front strands reach to the breasts toward the center of the chest, the back strand not cut from the back. Ears exposed, large, vaguely modeled. Facial details illegible. A false beard is barely visible. Front of the legs show irregularities and lines suggesting an inscription, now completely illegible. Figurine is cracked at the waist and glued together; the glaze surface is heavily worn., - if there was an inscription, c. 1069–c. 715 BC; Third Intermediate Period, Egypt; shabti; height 5.6 cm, width 2 cm, depth 1.7 cm., A vertically oriented, irregularly shaped object resembling a small sculpted figure is centered against a plain gray background; the object is mainly light blue with areas of darker blue and turquoise, and it shows mottled patches of beige and brown along with speckles of pale green and tiny grains that give a slightly rough texture, and there is a small area of reddish discoloration on one side.
