Ushabti, Mummy-shaped figurine shabti. Standing on a base with a flat pillar behind it. Arms folded across the chest with only the palms protruding from under the shroud. A hoe in the right hand and a pickaxe in the left; ends of the handles slightly curled and tools convex. A twisted rope is slung over the left shoulder from the right hand; a trapezoidal basket hangs from this rope on the back. Smooth three-part wig, long straight braided beard. Round, proportionate facial features. Not inscribed. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Height 12.2 cm., A slender vertical figurine in shades of green and turquoise with areas of brownish and tan discoloration, shown in profile against a plain gray background; the figure has a rounded head with a pronounced nose and a textured beard, a narrow torso with subtle arm and shoulder contours, a long straight lower body that tapers into a flat rectangular base, and visible surface pitting and weathered patches along its length.
