Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base, back supported by a pillar/pilaster. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over the left. A pickaxe in the left hand, a hoe in the right. A basket on the back, slung by a single string over the left shoulder. Wearing a three-part smooth wig and a long smooth straight beard. Well-proportioned face with a slight smile. Painted inscription on the front of the legs in a single wide column framed with lines; text illegible. Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Height 11.1 cm., A small carved figure shown in profile against a gray background, rendered in off-white and beige tones with areas of darker brown discoloration and small patches of reddish color; the figure stands on a flat base and has a rounded head, an elongated body, and indications of a cloak or draped garment along the back and sides, with surface pitting and irregularities visible across the material.
