Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, standing on a base; head missing. A narrow, slightly convex pillar at the back. Arms crossed high on the chest, right folded over left. Left hand holds a pickaxe, right a mattock; a twisted rope passes over the left shoulder, ending on the back in a vertically hanging bag. Convex tools with handles slightly curled at the ends. Smooth tripartite wig and short straight beard. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Shabti; height 11 cm., A vertical elongated object with a weathered, rough surface in shades of turquoise and light green, with areas of pale beige and off-white where the outer layer is chipped, set against a solid medium-gray background; the object tapers slightly toward the top, shows pitted texture and irregular edges, and rests on a thicker base portion with a broken, uneven bottom.
