Shabti head, Mummy-shaped figurine head depicting a king. Oval face with full cheeks; prominent eyebrow arch. Eye and nose shapes are difficult to distinguish. Corners of the mouth slightly upturned. Low-set nemes headdress with its edges slightly outlined against the forehead. End of the rear pillar visible at the back of the head. Ptolemaic Period, 332–30 BC, Egypt. Shabti; height 3 cm, width 2.3 cm., A small three-dimensional fragment shaped like a human head in profile, showing a face with a forehead, brow, nose, lips, and chin, rendered with a textured, pitted surface; the fragment has a worn, uneven underside and a flat area on top. The visible colors include turquoise-blue across most of the surface, pale beige in exposed areas and the underside, small patches of brownish spots where the surface is eroded, and a small area of reddish color on one side. The background is a solid neutral gray.
