Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift, supported on a pillar at the back. Legs missing. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. In the right hand a hoe, in the left a pickaxe. On the back a bag slung on a string over the left shoulder. Convex tools. On the head a long, smooth, three-part wig. Long, straight beard braided. Facial details poorly visible. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Height 5.4 cm., A small blue object with an irregular rounded top and slightly flared lower sides sits against a solid gray background; its surface shows areas of lighter blue and patches of beige and brown encrustation, and a small square patch of tan fabric is attached near the lower portion, with some darker grayish spots along the bottom edge.
