Shabti legs, Fragment of the legs of a mummy-shaped shabti figurine preserved from the knees down. The feet rest on a base, the back of the figurine supported by a pilaster. On the front of the legs is a painted hieroglyphic inscription in vertical lines. Mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift; Late Period, Egypt, 664–332 BC. Shabti; height 8.5 cm, width 2 cm., A fragment of a glazed object with a glossy sky blue surface showing variations to deeper turquoise and small speckles, with a rough exposed beige-brown unglazed area at one end, overall L-shaped with a rounded top edge and a vertical ridge along one side, set against a plain neutral gray background.
