Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift, supported at the back on a pillar. Legs missing from the knees down. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. In the right hand is a hoe; in the left, an axe. On the back is a bag slung on a string over the left shoulder. Convex tools. On the head is a long, smooth, three-part wig. Long, straight beard braided in a plait. Facial details poorly visible. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Height: 6.6 cm., A small sculpted figure rendered in shades of turquoise and teal with areas of lighter blue and hints of green, shown against a flat gray background; the figure has a rounded head and a simplified facial area, a hood or headdress that drapes down over the shoulders, and an elongated tapered body with arms folded across the chest, the surface showing a speckled, slightly weathered texture with some tiny darker spots and lighter worn edges.
