Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine functioning as a funerary offering; mummy-shaped, supported on a pillar at the back. Legs missing. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. In the right hand is a hoe, in the left a pickaxe. On the back is a bag slung on a string over the left shoulder. Convex tools. On the head is a long, smooth, tripartite wig. Long, straight beard braided. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Height 5.2 cm., A small carved blue figurine shown in profile against a gray background, with a rounded head, subtle facial features, an elongated body with a draped form, smooth glossy surface with lighter and darker blue mottling and a few small pale spots, and a thin tan cord or strip attached along the back.
