Shabti, Mummy-shaped figurine used as a funerary offering, supported at the back on a pillar. Legs missing from the knees down. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. In the right hand is a mattock, in the left an axe. On the back is a bag slung on a string over the left shoulder. Convex tools. On the head is a smooth, tripartite wig and a long, straight beard. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Shabti; height 6 cm., A small figurine-shaped object with smooth, rounded contours in shades of blue and turquoise, showing a darker blue area on the top and along the sides of the head and shoulders, with lighter turquoise on the face, chest, and lower portion; the surface shows a slightly glossy, worn texture with visible fine cracks and a few small darker specks, all set against a plain gray background.
