Shabti, mummy-shaped figurine, funerary gift. Mummy-shaped figurine with back supported by a pillar/pilaster. Legs missing up to knee height. Arms crossed on the chest, right folded over left. Right hand holds a hoe; left hand holds a pickaxe. Wearing a three-part smooth wig. Long, straight, braided beard. Facial details poorly visible. Not inscribed. 664–332 BC, Late Period, Egypt. Height 6.9 cm., A small carved object shaped like a stylized bird with a rounded head and tapered body sits against a plain gray background, showing a smooth glossy surface in shades of bright turquoise and teal with areas of lighter blue and pale green; a rectangular patch of beige-brown fabric is adhered near the upper back, and a vertical strip of rough tan-brown encrustation runs along the center of the lower body, while a few thin dark brown marks appear on one side.
