Flask, unknown eastern workshop, glass vessel, miniature vessel, Type: Barag type VI:9. Transparent glass, yellowish-green with applied thread decoration between the arms and the rim edge in the form of 10 sharp bends; free-blown. Outer diameter of the rim: 5.50 cm. Bottom diameter: 3.90 cm. 4th century, Roman Empire 27 BC–476. Vessel, weight 0.076 kg., A small translucent vessel sits centered against a light gray background, the glass showing a greenish tint with areas of pale olive and subtle yellowish highlights; the body is rounded and bulbous with a narrower neck and a slightly flared rim, and a group of decorative looped handles of the same greenish glass drape from the rim down toward the shoulder creating flowing, curved shapes; the surface of the vessel contains numerous small bubbles and streaks, with some darker inclusions and faint horizontal striations, and the base appears slightly thicker and darker than the upper areas.
