The smooth shaft stands on a base formed by three slabs, the lower polygonal, the next two circular, divided by a groove enclosed by two rings. The shaft is topped by two circular slabs, on which rests a capital with two rows of leaves rounded at the top, their tips slightly tilted from the stone face. The bipartite abacus is decorated with rosettes placed in the center of the slab walls. Acanthus leaves and rosette ornament. 2nd century, Tell Atrib porch of the baths. Column, column base, capital; weight 3600 kg., A tall cylindrical stone column with a polished, marbled surface in shades of gray, greenish-gray, and beige rises from the bottom of the image, topped by an ornate carved capital that is lighter in color, mostly off-white with subtle beige tones; the capital features carved leaf-like motifs and layered decorative elements with curved outlines, and the background is a smooth gradient of muted gray transitioning from darker at the top to lighter toward the bottom.
