Head of a young man, unknown Greek workshop. A small head of a young man, probably a fragment of a bas-relief. The youth's face is oval, with almond-shaped eyes. A distinct furrow on the forehead. The mouth is twisted in a grimace. c. 350 BC, Greece. Sculpture; height 7 cm, width 6.5 cm, weight 0.51 kg., A single irregularly shaped object with a rough, pitted surface rests against a plain background; the object appears rounded with a subtle protrusion resembling a facial profile on one side. The surface shows a mix of pale white and off-white tones with areas of gray and light beige discoloration, and small darker gray spots and streaks scattered across it. The background is a uniform medium gray.
